Vehicle Closeout Dates

AutoChoice Model Year Closeout Dates and Obligated Funds Program

Manufacturers close out model year production throughout the year. Please review the closeout date listing to ensure that you place your orders before the cut off dates. GSA also provides the Obligated Funds Program to allow customers the opportunity to obligate the current year funding after the model year has been closed.

AutoChoice Light Vehicles:

  • All Light Vehicles, including sedans, station wagons, light trucks and ambulances programs have been awarded. 
  • The AutoChoice Obligated Funds Program for Light Vehicles will be announced  sometime in May or as available.

AutoChoice Medium and Heavy Vehicles:

  • All Medium and Heavy vehicles, including buses, medium trucks, heavy trucks, wreckers and carriers programs have been awarded.
  • The AutoChoice Obligated Funds Program for Medium and Heavy Vehicles will announced sometime in June or as available.

AutoChoice Obligated Funds Program General Information:

  • Obligate expiring current year funds by using the Obligated Funds Program;
  • Place orders in the AutoChoice garage to obligate the closing Fiscal Year  funding until the upcoming Fiscal Year model year contracts are in place;
  • Use the closing Fiscal Year make, model, and pricing data for estimates and planning purposes only;
  • Ordering agencies utilizing the Obligated Funds Program should add an additional 5% to the closing Fiscal Year vehicle prices to account for pricing adjustments for the upcoming Fiscal Year vehicle models; and
  • Please be advised that all "Pending Orders" must be recalculated when the upcoming  Fiscal Year pricing is announced and available for ordering.
