- Flatfoot Rd. and Old Storage Rd, 1000 acres plus, at least 3 homes damaged/lost, evacuations, 1 close call by a DOF dozer, Red Cross providing shelters

Brunswick:
- Pocahontas Rd., large fire, 1 home lost
Chesapeake
- one home lost
Suffolk
- fire near Tidewater Community College closed I-664 for some time.

- 9 or 10 other fires, a couple of which are larger in size
Nelson:
- multiple fires, 2 of which were in mountainous areas and had to go without resources for a while because everything was committed and these were the lowest priorities.
- R3 type 3 IMT will likely be deployed to help manage these incidents in the AM 02-11-08
Amherst
- multiple fires, one of which had to go unmanned for a while due to no resources.
- Assume that this is where the B&G crew was assigned
Orange
- this one received a lot of attention through the EOC, but no details from the DOF
Augusta:
- one significant fire, which may now be contained, many others

- Blackhorse fire is mostly on National Forest land, 500 acres +, evacuation of 25 + homes, 460 Eastbound closed in Montvale area, Roanoke Airport closed – may be due to wind instead of smoke?.
Roanoke
- Lockhaven Drive, 75 acres+, I-81 S closed, evacuations
- One other fire in the Hollins Area
- Back Creek, Leftler Lane, unknown size
- Big Otter River, unknown size, may be in Bedford County
Floyd

GW/Jeff National Forest
- Blackhorse fire – Bedford Co. have ordered a type 2 IMT to manage
- Have ordered a type 1 IMT to serve as Area Command for a total of three incidents plus other starts in western Virginia.
