Seale and Deputy Assistant to the President and Director of USA Freedom Corps Henry Lozano joined hundreds of volunteers serving at Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Library in downtown Washington to organize, clean, and catalog books. AmeriCorps members, RSVP volunteers and service-learning participants across the country spent Saturday, Oct. 27, making a difference within their communities as they participated in a host of service projects. Landscaping, trail maintenance, and food distribution were among the activities that members and volunteers undertook for the national observance of Make A Difference Day. |
