DoD recognizes NDIA's Earned Value Management Systems Intent Guide (USD(AT&L) Letter).

The List of Suppliers With Validated EVM Systems is now available on the DCMA web site (http://guidebook.dcma.mil/79/index.htm).
The EVM guidance in the Defense Acquisition Guidebook was updated November 2005 and is available for use. Please refer to Chapter 11, Section 11.3.
The Integrated Master Plan and Integrated Master Schedule Preparation and Use Guide updated October 2005 is available for use.
The International Memorandum of Understanding between Canada, Australia, and the United States extending the agreement another 10 years has been signed.
The latest update to the WBS Handbook (MIL-HDBK-881A) is completed and available for use.
On March 7, 2005, USD(AT&L) signed the EVM policy memo. This revised policy will streamline, improve and increase consistency in EVM implementation and application. Highlights of the new policy, revised Contract Performance Report (CPR) and Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) Data Item Descriptions (DIDs) are now available on the Assist web site. The new CPR forms (DD Form 2734/1-5) are available on the DoD forms web site.

The April 2003 version of The Program Managers' Guide to the Integrated Baseline Review Process has been added to this site. USD(AT&L) AR&A sent a memo to the Service Acquisition Executives directing conformace with this Guide to improve consistency of the overall IBR process. |
