Climate Sources
NOAA Weather Radio All Hazards (NWR) is a nationwide network of radio stations broadcasting continuous weather information directly from the nearest National Weather Service office. NWR broadcasts official Weather Service warnings, watches, climatological data, forecasts, and other hazard information 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Receivers can be purchased at many retail outlets, including electronics, department, sporting goods, and boat and marine accessory stores and their catalogs. They can also be purchased via the Internet from online retailers or directly from manufacturers. Look for NWR receivers which carry the Public Alert logo. The map and table below show the locations of all the NWR stations in Utah, plus the Evanston station in southwest Wyoming. Click on a station's location in the map or its name in the table for more information, including its frequency.
