U.S. Marshals Fugitive Featured on America’s Most Wanted

Columbus, OH – The United States Marshals Service would like to announce Columbus, Ohio federal fugitive Rebecca Parrett is the featured fugitive on www.amw.com, the website for America’s Most Wanted.

Rebecca Parrett is a felon who jumped her bond in March 2008 after being convicted in a high profile, $3 billion fraud case. Parrett was an executive at National Century Financial Enterprises (NCFE), a company that bilked investors out of millions of dollars by falsifying reports and intentionally deceiving the SEC. Parrett apparently decided after her conviction that she did not want to face the potential of 75 years in jail, and never again reported to authorities as instructed by a Columbus federal judge.

Five of Parrett’s coconspirators have also been convicted in federal court for these heinous crimes, which occurred in the Columbus area between 1992 and 2002.

Deputy United States Marshal Andrew Shadwick, the lead investigator in the Rebecca Parrett fugitive case, was pleased with the AMW feature. “The greed of powerful corporate executives like those with NCFE is terrible. Finding Rebecca Parrett will be a priority to the United States Marshals Service until the day she is captured and forced to face what she did.”

America’s Most Wanted will continue to feature Parrett today and tomorrow. Additionally, a new internet site has been developed for those interested in the case, www.rebeccaparrett.com. The Marshals Service asks anyone with information to contact them at 614-469-5540.
