Arrests Fugitive From Louisiana |

San
Antonio, TX – Today the United States Marshals Service sponsored
Lone Star Fugitive Task Force (LSFTF) arrested Louisiana fugitive
Albert Holmes (age 27) after making entry into a Seguin motel room
at 5:45 a.m. Holmes is wanted in Ouachita Parrish, Louisiana, for
Armed Robbery, Kidnapping and Theft.
Holmes is accused of a home invasion on 12/12/2007 in or near
Monroe, Louisiana, in which he armed himself with the victim’s .357
revolver and a .270 rifle. Holmes fled the jurisdiction of Louisiana
and became a fugitive, just recently landing in Seguin, Texas.
United States Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force Members in the
Western District of Louisiana contacted members of the LSFTF at
approximately 5:00 p.m. Thursday, January 10, 2008, after they
learned Holmes may be residing in or near Seguin.
Throughout the evening of January 10th and the early morning hours
of January 11th, LSFTF members partnered with many agencies and
began a non-stop fugitive investigation after learning that Holmes
had been spending time at various residences between Guadalupe and
Wilson Counties. The search of one home near Stockdale in Wilson
County last night was aided by a DPS Chopper hovering overhead.
The United States Marshal for the Western District of Texas
LaFayette Collins said, “The reason Albert Holmes is behind bars
today to face his charges is only due to the diligence and dogged
determination of this team of law enforcement professionals to “get
their man!”
