Man Wanted for Felonious Assault Arrested by U.S. Marshals Task Force

James M. Wahlrab, United States Marshal for the Southern District of Ohio, announces the arrest of Allen Keyshawn Wright.  Wright was wanted by the Dayton Police Department for violations of his terms of probation and felonious assault.

In September 2006, Wright was convicted of unlawful possession of dangerous ordnance in Montgomery County and sentenced to 5 years of community control.  Recently, Wright has failed to report to his probation officer and local authorities believe he committed a new offense of felonious assault with serious harm to the victim.

On December 20, 2007, the U.S. Marshals Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST), comprised of local, state and federal agents, traveled to 513 Groveland Avenue in Dayton, Ohio.   SOFAST members made entry and located Wright hiding underneath a bed where he was apprehended without incident.

The U.S. Marshal would like to thank the participating agencies of the SOFAST task force for their continued dedication to making the SOFAST a success in the greater Dayton area.

The U.S. Marshals Service was America’s first federal law enforcement agency and each year arrests more fugitives than all other federal law enforcement agencies combined.
