Visual Simulation

Objects are cut-out images of elements, such as trees and people, that can be placed into a visual simulation.

Creating Objects

Objects must have a transparent background in order to be added to the simulation (see above image). Some file formats that support transparency include:

Check your software for compatibility with file formats that support transparency. This will determine which file format to acquire your objects.

Object Libraries

An object library

Certain image editing programs, such as CanVis, offer object libraries. These libraries contain ready-to-use objects, saving valuable time when creating your simulation. Check your software for existing object libraries.

If you have created your own objects or object libraries, and are willing to share them with other users, please contact us. We would like to post them here for others to download.
