Description:
A four-day conference for master gardeners and horticulture enthusiasts, is scheduled for March 22-25 in Las Vegas. The event is sponsored by the University of Nevada Cooperative Extension will explore such topics as pollinators, honey bees and colony collapse disorder; replacing turf with meadow plants; how to nurture young trees; and a ‘show-and-tell’ session on integrated pest management. The conference is open to the public but geared toward the knowledgeable gardener. The International Master Gardener Conference will be at the Alexis Park Resort Hotel in Las Vegas. Cost is $310 till Feb. 15; $350 late registration if available.
