CSC - Start a design project
Creative Services Center

I want to start a design project.

The first and most important step is to define the purpose for your project. What do I want my project to accomplish? What do I want to say? Whom do I want to reach? What results do I want? With a clear understanding of what you want, we can recommend how to best accomplish your objectives.

As early as possible in the project, we encourage you to contact the Design Branch. We can recommend the most effective approaches, while considering your specific parameters.

The following forms will formally initiate a project with the Design Branch. Please make an appointment with us in advance of sending the form to discuss your project and determine a fee estimate.

Form AD-652
For USDA use.
(PDF file, Adobe Acrobat Reader needed to view this file.)

Form 6500-46
Forest Service Authorization for In-Service Expenditures.

Interagency Agreement
For Federal agencies other than USDA. Contact your financial officer for the appropriate form or contact the Design Branch for assistance.

To set up an appointment, discuss a project, or purpose a new idea, contact:
