Winter 2009 Growing Places Registration Form

Late Fall/Winter Growing Places: If you are interested in enrolling in Southern Vermont or on-line session of Growing Places in the late fall or winter, please email us at wagn@uvm.edu. Please be sure to indicate whether you are interested in an in-person session or on-line. Please also include your address and telephone number.

Growing Places is designed for individuals:

  • who are considering starting an agriculture or natural resource based business,
  • but who aren't sure where to start

Growing Places is designed to help participants:

  • develop a comprehensive goal statement which will help in the business planning process
  • explore and evaluate opportunities and resources
  • become familiar with state and federal agriculture programs

To register for Growing Places, please download and use the Growing Places Registration form posted here. The more specific your answers are, the more we will be able to meet your individual needs. A deposit of $100 must accompany your registration, unless you are seeking a scholarship. In that case, a $25 deposit is due with your registration form and scholarship request. To request a scholarship, please write a brief letter that explains why the registration fee represents a financial hardship for you at this time.

Make check or money order payable to UVM Extension and mail to: Women's Agricultural Network, 617 Comstock Rd., Suite 5, Berlin, VT  05602. You will receive confirmation of your registration along with some pre-class information.  Individuals requiring special accommodations or financial assistance to participate in this program should contact the Women's Agricultural Network Main Office at (802) 223-2389 x15.
