The Resource Evaluation Newsletter was published from 1980-1981.  This newsletter was jointly sponsored by the USDA Forest Service's Resources Evaluation Techniques Program and the BLM's Division of Resource Inventory Systems.  Resource Evaluation Newsletter replaced BLM's Resource Inventory Notes.  Topics covered classification systems, remote sensing and data analysis as well as inventory techniques.  This series no longer is in print.  Copies maybe requested from the blm_library@blm.gov or telephone 303-236-6650.   Dr. Tim Gregoire at Yale University has scanned all of the BLM Resource Inventory Notes and Resources Evaluation Newsletters and has made them available on the web in pdf format.
