Welcome to the South Dakota Extension Master Gardener website!
Master Gardeners are trained volunteers who assist the SD Cooperative Extension Service in providing yard and garden educational activities across the state.
Extension Master Gardener Training Information
Over 1,000 South Dakotans have received the training, and have returned over 58,000 reported hours service to the state. If you want to learn more about plants and gardening and would enjoy sharing that knowledge, the Extension Master Gardener may be your ticket!
Tentative 2009 training locations:
Hot Springs, Wagner (May 7-July 2), Brookings (Mar 17- May 14), Beresford (Apr 17-June 12) and Selby (May 20-July 15).
