  • Protecting Farm Revenue in NH (Dec 17, 1999) - The Brookdale Fruit Farm, Inc., located in Hollis, New Hampshire, requires a lot of work to keep up with 200 acres of orchards and 150 acres of fruit and vegetables. But Eleanor Whittemore's family has been making it work for a long time.
  • Going the Extra Mile (Dec 16, 1999) - Minnesota-based Rural Community Insurance Services (RCIS) needed extra help to service its crop insurance policy holders after three hurricanes swept through North Carolina, Florida, and Virginia. After word went out, Lance King of Lubbock, Texas, didn"t take long to make up his mind to volunteer.
