SYMPTOMS
The AOL browser is not able to properly run Java technology based chat programs, applets or games.
CAUSE
AOL runs a saved copy of each applet from a cache folder on the computer, so the applet now running in the browser may not be the most current version.
AOL has a bug which causes some applets to redraw the window improperly.
If there are still problems after clearing the cache, try using another browser, such as Mozilla, Internet Explorer, or Netscape to view Java technology based applets.
If these suggestions do not help solve the issue, please let AOL know about it.
