What is the disk space requirement for downloading and installing Java software?

Download size for Java software is approximately 10 MB.
After the download, the files are uncompressed. Once Java is installed, approximately 100 MB will be used.

A typical Java installation, installs various features such as
  1. Java Runtime Environment.
  2. Support for Additional Languages.
  3. Additional Font and Media Support.
