- Probably the last thing on everyone's mind these days, but Flood Safety Awareness Week is March 16-20.
- Severe Weather Awareness Week was February 22 - 28.
- Before you know it, the start of the 2009 Hurricane season will be here. The 2009 Houston/Galveston Hurricane Workshop
will be held on Saturday, May 30th at the George R. Brown Convention Center from 9 AM to 2 PM.
- The official 2008 Hurricane Season Track Map is now available from the
National Hurricane Center. Additional information is available on their website for the

- Our warm and dry spell continues. College Station just recorded its
