Farm Animal Welfare Council (FAWC), United Kingdom
An independent advisory body established to review the welfare of farm animals on agricultural land, at market, in transit and at the place of slaughter.

Universities Federation for Animal Welfare (UFAW)
Scientific and technical animal welfare organization working to improve the welfare of animals kept as pets, in zoos, laboratories, and on farms and of wild animals with which we interact. UFAW funds research, holds symposia, and produces publications on animal welfare.

Federation for Animal Science Societies (FASS)
The goals of FASS are to bring together a federated society for the pursuit of scientific and educational good of animal agriculture. FASS offers farm animal worker training programs for livestock, poultry, and horses. They also publish and distribute the Guide for the Care and Use of Agricultural Animals in Agricultural Research and Teaching.

National Institute for Animal Agriculture
The NIAA is an umbrella organization of producers, veterinarians, processors, corporations, and commodity organizations that advocate programs that improve animal health, care, and food safety. NIAA produces educational videos and pamphlets on animal care, behavior, handling, transportation, and disease. Topics covered are livestock animal care, handling, housing, nutrition, health, and tranportation.
