Avian Resources
Bluebird Society of Pennsylvania   
An affliate of the North American Bluebird Society, this site provides information & resources on bluebird management, membership, and more. 

National Wild Turkey Federation   
Leading conservation organization for the wild turkey.  Visit here to learn about their programs such as JAKES and Women in the Outdoors, as well as resources for turkey management. 

North American Bluebird Society   

Provides information & resources on bluebird management, Transcontinental Bluebird Trail, Adopt-a-Box, slide program rentals, the journal Sialia, and other useful information.

From Edinboro University, this organization is the leader in information about this challenging yet rewarding species.  
                          

Fatal Light Awareness Program   
FLAP deals with the issue of bird collisions into windows and high-rise buildings, which kills millions of birds each year.  Check out this site to determine if your building may be a hazard to night migrants, as well as how to alleviate the problem at both work and home.

Amphibian Resources 

Frog Watch 
Monitor frog calls on wetlands at your corporate site or own backyard to help scientists research and conserve amphibians.  Register your site and enter data on-line.  It's simple to learn and contribute! 

North American Amphibian Monitoring Program
 
Help document declines in amphibians in your area by joining the efforts of NAAMP.  Studies include frog call surveys, terrestrial salamander studies, and atlases.  Also an excellent way to learn more about these critters.  Also teacher and family activities. 

Terrestrial Salamander Monitoring Program 
A part of NAAMP, this site explains the protocol as well as salamander identification.  An excellent study to complement a management plan and involve the community. 

Amphibian Identification Guide 

This is an excellent reference site with the US Geological Survey to identify any amphibian, even tadpoles!

Wings of Wonder 
This partnership between TRHP, ASSET, Inc., Carnegie Science Center, and the wildlife teams of Bayer and PPG aims to educate students and community about migratory birds and butterflies.  The Backyard Conservation section is divided into attracting pollinators and birds. Find native plant lists and suppliers here, as well as educational activities. 
                  
          

Migratory Pollinators 
                             
Based at the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum, this campaign aims to call national attention to the critical role that pollinators such as bees and butterflies play in our daily lives. This site has endless resources and links for pollinator (butterfly) gardens.

Monarch Watch

Wildlife Habitat Council 
The site for wildlife habitat programs and environmental education on corporate lands.  Learn how your company can become involved.  Also visit here for WHC Nest Box program and certification information.

Wildlife Habitat Management Institute 
A project of the NRCS, this site provides management leaflets for various species, including those compiled by the Wildlife Habitat Council.
                                                 

Animal Rescue League of Western PA Wildlife Center 
The ARL is dedicated to the rehabilitation of injured wildlife.

Bat Conservation International
