China’s broiler production in 2007 increased by 12 percent to 11.5 MMT from the previous year because of a major decline in pork production caused by blue ear disease. China's boiler imports in 2008 are forecast to increase by 24 percent to 600,000 MT while exports are forecast to increase by 12 percent to 400,000 MT.
