Hit counter map widgets for your site
Three varieties:
- ClustrMaps: free, for light users (up to 2,500 visitors daily), limited archive of old maps
- ClustrMaps+ : small monthly fee, unlimited archive of old maps, zoom to continents
- ClustrMaps Pro: larger daily visit limit, embed zoomed maps in your own site's look and feel (you keep logs, we provide maps).
ClustrMaps is the only hit counter that (i) accurately shows you the locations of all visitors to your site on a thumbnail map embedded in your page, (ii) uses dot-clusters that scale up to huge numbers, and (iii) lets you store old maps in an archive. The advantage of ClustrMaps Pro is that you can embed the maps into your own site rather than linking to the ClustrMaps site for zoomed-in map details. On the other hand, it requires more site admin expertise, since you need to be able to access your own server logs in order to ship statistics back and forth to ClustrMaps. In contrast, ClustrMaps and ClustrMaps+ just require you to place a few lines of HTML on your web site or blog, and all maps are then provided on the ClustrMaps site. The basic service, 'ClustrMaps', is free, and does exactly what it says below: it is not just a 'trial', and there is no 'time limit'.

*Maximum daily visitors: We have a lenient policy allowing isolated 'peaks' and exceptions. For users of either ClustMaps+ or ClustrMaps Pro, you can access a larger-scale service on a sliding pro-rata basis, with increasingly discounted rates as your number of users increases. **Archive of old maps: When your current map either gets 'too dense' (~ 100,000 visitors), or the user-settable archive period (set to yearly be default) has elapsed, it is archived and a fresh map created for a new time period (grand totals are always preserved); ClustrMaps (free) users can keep just one archived thumbnail map, whereas ClustrMaps+ and ClustrMaps Pro users can keep an unlimited number of all archived thumbnail maps, and ALSO an unlimited number of their archived large world maps and zoomed-in continent maps, all accessible from an archive page we create for you.
