Trade Adjustment Assistance for Farmers

The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 has reauthorized the Trade Adjustment Assistance for Farmers (TAAF) program which expired on December 31, 2007.

This Act provides for important changes to the eligibility requirements and benefits of the program with cash payments linked to the development of a long-term business adjustment plan.
