eSAGE

eSAGE is a comprehensive software package for managing and analyzig data generated by Serial Analysis of Gene Expression. It was originally developed as part of my doctoral thesis work in the Department of Human Genetics at the University of Michigan.

The latest version of eSAGE (v1.2) has been modified to link SAGE Tags in your database to UniGene clusters using the newly reported ehm-Tag-Mapping method (Margulies EH, Kardia SLR, and Innis JW (2001) Genome Research 11:1686-1698). The tools for analyzing GC content have also been enhanced to make them more comprehensive and easily accessable from the `Files' drop-down menu.

Comments and questions about eSAGE should be addressed to Elliott Margulies.

When publishing data analyzed with eSAGE, please reference the publication that describes the software: Margulies and Innis (2000) Bioinformatics 16:650-51.
