Architectural Rendering: Star-Spangled Banner Gallery
In the fall of 2006, the National Museum of American History embarked on a dramatic transformation of its building. The focus is on three areas: architectural enhancements to the museum’s interior, constructing a state-of-the-art gallery for the Star-Spangled Banner (pictured), and updating the more than 40-year old building’s infrastructure. The museum is scheduled to reopen by the summer of 2008.
