Are any Americans infected?

There are a few important points.  The first thing is that…many millions of people have been in contact, and exposed to poultry that have been infected with H5N1 virus.  And it’s a very, very rare human disease.  The other thing is that there’s only an extremely small number of people that have been infected through contact with wild birds….But by and large, just having contact with a wild bird is an extremely, it would be extremely rare for a person to be infected.
