Minimum COATINGS

Fully adapted range of encrusted products used to add weight or as inert carriers for basic nutrient or fungicide treatments, for seeds of sugar beet, vegetables, grasses and forage root crops. Not usually graded, these coatings offer the same flexibility as full pellets in their combinability with priming and upgrading treatments. SIZED AND GRADED PELLETS

Eleven different pellet types suited to precise build-up and size grading for all precision planted field or modular planted crops. These include seed of sugar and fodder beet, and an extensive range of horticultural and flower seeds, tobacco and valuable breeders or elite seed stocks.

All our pellets are designed to be fully compatible with a wide range of climatic conditions or growing environments to offer the highest germination potential. The pellets combine their size grading and seed shaping roles with excellent synergies for priming, upgrading and seed applied crop protection agrochemical treatments.

Used commercially throughout the Group, by our technology partners and clients for over a decade, our film coating products give optimal performance through both batch and continuous precision coating systems. They offer full compatibility to apply all base fungicide and insecticide seed treatment products currently registered world-wide.

As the world leading independent seed technology provider, the Group collaborates with all major agricultural life science companies in developing coating methodology and recipes from the early life cycle of new molecules. Our film coating products have treated thousands of tonnes of pelleted sugar beet, lettuce, and other seeds with high value seed treatments formulations based on world renowned active ingredients, such as imidacloprid, thiamethoxam, clothianidin and tefluthrin both at our locations, and those of our technology partners and customers.

SEED PRIMING and UPGRADING

We provide a full range of physiological treatments. There range from discrete water-based steeping processes to remove germination inhibitors and increase outright germination, or introduce fungicides to eradicate seed borne diseases, to tailored and fully optimised seed priming processes to advance or improve the speed, uniformity and rate of seed germination for a wide range of agro climatic requirements.

Seed treated can range from grams of flower seed to tonnes of sugar beet seed per batch.
Other performance enhancers such as seed upgrading and sorting via state of the art processes are routinely offered to improve vegetable and flower seed germination ability.

These treatments are available on a large portfolio of horticultural, ornamental and agronomic crop species.
