Enterprise GWAC Center

The Enterprise GWAC (Governmentwide Acquisition Contract) Center offers efficient, responsive, and professional support for all Information Technology (IT) acquisition needs by awarding and managing contracts that address the entire spectrum of IT.

The Enterprise GWAC Center provides several avenues for clients to access GSA’s comprehensive IT solutions that are worldwide in scope. The Enterprise GWAC Center is committed to:

  • Understanding the missions, goals, objectives, and requirements of federal clients
  • Maintaining a knowledge base of the best in industry
  • Providing timely procurement assistance and related ongoing educational initiatives on GWACs
  • Possessing a full complement of technical, acquisition, and cost and pricing expertise

For access to GSA's comprehensive IT solutions, current and potential clients are invited to work directly with the Client Support Centers and the Enterprise GWAC Center to:

  • Issue and manage task orders
  • Provide acquisition consulting and/or award contracts
  • Access ANSWER, Millennia, ITOP II, and other contracts through Client Managed Acquisition arrangements

ANSWER (Applications 'N Support for Widely-diverse End-user Requirements) – is a $25 Billion Multiple Award/Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (MA/IDIQ) contract that provides the full spectrum of IT Support Services that deliver the best value and innovation to support client missions worldwide. ANSWER provides clients with stability and continuity in the face of today’s highly volatile and rapidly changing technological environment.

Millennia – is a GWAC that fulfills the federal government’s demand for large system integration and development projects by providing IT services in a timely and cost-effective manner. Millennia provides a broad range IT support through contracts with its world-class industry partners.

Alliant – The Enterprise GWAC Center and the Small Business GWAC Center propose to award MA/IDIQ contracts for a wide range of information technology services. The GWACs will provide the greatest amount of flexibility possible to efficiently and effectively support the federal government's needs in its daily operations, its protection of infrastructure, and the development and marketing of emerging technologies. The proposed Alliant contracts will be a 10 year contract (five-year base and one five-year option) to provide professional IT services.

ITOP II – (IT Omnibus Procurement II) – provides a wide range of IT services, with three functional support areas: Information Systems Engineering (ISE), Systems Operations and Management (SOM) and Information Systems Security Support Services (ISS). These three functional areas provide the flexibility and the wide range of technical and/or contracting resources necessary to help with meeting all IT requirement(s). The ITOP customer base spans many civilian and DoD agencies. This GWAC expired in January 2006.

Virtual Data Center – provides a fast, low-cost alternative for obtaining mainframe and midrange systems and related IT and network products and services from experienced industry providers. It provides for the outsourcing and migration of government data services from existing federal data centers to industry partner centers located throughout the world.

  • Annual past performance reviews to ensure excellent performance throughout contract life
  • GWAC training seminar for GSA associates covering GSA authority, goals, vision and operational posture
