Frank Carlson U.S. Courthouse and Federal Building

444 Southeast Quincy Street
Topeka, KS 66683

The Frank Carlson Federal Building and U.S. Courthouse was constructed in 1977 and is situated on approximately 2.4 acres adjacent to the downtown historic post office. Its four-story atrium entrance is graced by an unusual glass sculpture entitled “Tornado,” which is greatly enhanced by the light filtering in from a rooftop skylight.
