This horizontally branching deciduous shrub is a U.S. National Arboretum introduction which grows up
to 12 feet high and wide. It prefers full sun to partial shade and, in May, 'Shasta' doublefile viburnum produces showy white flowers. By July, bright red berries appear (inset, lower left) which make
a nice transition to the stunning burgundy fall color (inset, upper left). 'Shasta' doublefile viburnum
is hardy in USDA Hardiness Zones 5-8, and can be found in the Introduction Garden. More
