POSITION:
Post Doctoral
Fellow in Socioeconomics and Impact Assessment, Ref. 2008/16
The International Maize and
Wheat Improvement Center (CIMMYT), is seeking an innovative,
self-motivated, scientifically outstanding candidate for a
postdoctoral fellow position in socioeconomics.
The appointment is initially for two years, with the opportunity
for extension into a career position. The projects on which the
selected candidate will primarily participate are the Drought
Tolerant Maize for Africa (DTMA) and the Sasakawa-Nippon Impact
assessment; as well as other ex-ante/ex-post research
activities.
The position will be based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, with the
possibility of work periods in Mexico, and research work in
countries of Eastern and Southern Africa.
