Seminis is seeking a highly motivated individual with ability to
work as a member of the Foundation Seed team at the Payette
Research Station in Payette, Idaho.
In this role the candidate will assist with daily operations
associated with producing high quality parent seed. Major
responsibilities include assisting with sowing, field data
collection, harvest, seed processing and packaging, maintaining
seed inventories, testing inventories as required and supporting
local safety objectives. Additional responsibilities include
supervision and training of temporary employees and seasonal
labor.
Performs assigned tasks related to responsible crops.
Includes:

in all aspects of crop cycle from sowing to harvest

in data collection and crop care
The successful candidate will
possess:
-
4+ year
work experience and a high school diploma OR minimum 2 year
work experience and an AA degree
-
Computer
experience
-
Fluency
in written and spoken English
-
Strong
organization, communication and human relation skills and
basic math application
-
Bachelor’s degree in scientific discipline is desirable
