"The health of our waters is the principal measure of how we live on the land." Luna Leopold - DCR's Chesapeake Bay Local Assistance Programs staff addresses the impact of land use on waters that feed the Chesapeake Bay. Integral to the staff's mission is participation in the multi-jurisdictional Chesapeake Bay Program and implementation of the Virginia's Chesapeake Bay Preservation Act and the associated regulations.
