The National Association of Towns and Townships (NATaT) will host its annual conference, “America’s Town Meeting,” in Washington, DC on September 9-11, 2009. America's Town Meeting provides participants with an important opportunity to meet with their Members of Congress and help make the voice of towns and townships heard in Washington, DC. The conference also provides opportunities for NATaT members to network with their colleagues and share best practices, lessons learned, and strategies for success. WHY NATaT?
Strengthen Small Town GovernmentThe purpose of the National Association of Towns and Townships (NATaT) is to strengthen the effectiveness of small town government. NATaT does this by educating lawmakers and public policy officials about how small town governments operate and by advocating policies on their behalf in Washington, DC. NATaT members include town and township officials represented by the following state associations:
