Nutrition education using food models
The following educational models of food, food composition, and anatomy may be borrowed from the National Agricultural Library’s (NAL) collection via your local library. NAL lending information can be found at the Request Library Materials web page. Breastfeeding

These breast models were created to assist in teaching breastfeeding, breast care (breast self-exam), and breast function to Asian, Black, and Caucasian groups.

Food Models
Food Models Activity Cards

Life-size, color photographs of 200 commonly eaten foods on sturdy cardboard cards designed for use as models in food demonstrations or nutrition-learning activities. Each model contains a picture of the food, its name, and the size of a single serving on one side; the reverse side gives the item's nutrient information in a nutrition facts label format.
