STATEMENT OF THE ATTORNEY GENERAL:

Following another tragic murder of yet another innocent life last night, the entire Justice Department extends our heartfelt sympathy and prayers to the family of a woman who lived and worked among us -- Linda Franklin -- as well as to the families and neighbors of all those killed or injured by this sniper in recent days. The Justice Department will extend any and all resources needed to the team of local, state, and federal officials working together to bring the individual or individuals responsible to justice.
