What Is MDH Doing to Plan for a Pandemic?
The Minnesota Department of Health leads the human health aspects of pandemic
planning for the state. Right now, MDH is monitoring for unusual flu strains
in Minnesota that could become the next influenza pandemic, as well as helping people prepare
for a pandemic. During a pandemic, MDH has strategies to slow
the spread of the disease as well as to protect the health of
all Minnesotans.
