  • Pennsylvania Medical Society
    The Society is the state's only advocate for both doctors and patients. Their "You & Your Physician" web page provides useful guidelines on getting the most from your doctor visit and a means to Find-A-Physician by searching their online member directory by name, location, specialty, or hospital affiliation.
  • Pittsburgh Magazine: Top Doctors
    This annual list from May, 2007 was prepared by Castle Connolly Medical Ltd. which contacted thousands of health professionals in the region and asked them to name the doctors to whom they would entrust a family member when faced with a specific medical problem. The list includes practitioners from 38 specialities.
