The goal of DSS is to ease procurement burdens, shorten lead times and reduce the time required to obtain private detention services.
To that end, OFDT is designing the National Detention Services Contract (NDSC). NDSC involves the award of a series of Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts, under section 119 authority, to multiple private detention service providers that agree to provide detention and other related services to the Government at various facilities nationwide. This DSNetwork module will facilitate the DSS program.
