You may search, retrieve, and browse records of patents and patent applications owned by DOE or its contractors or assignees. Associated full text is available for some current patent applications.

To begin your search, click on the drop down arrow on the Search box. Select the field you wish to search by clicking on and highlighting either Full Record, Title, Creator/Author, or Identifier Numbers. To search for an exact phrase, use double quotes around the phrase entered in the query box.

Sort your search results by Relevance, Publication Date, System Entry Date, Resource/Document Type, Title, Research Organization, Sponsoring Organization, or OSTI Identifier.

To use the sort feature, click on the drop-down arrow to highlight the field you wish to sort by. Then select either ascending or descending and initiate your search. For nonnumerical data, ascending provides results in alphabetical order and descending provides results in reverse alphabetical order.
