The Wildlife Habitat Council’s first 20 years were marked with groundbreaking successes, including engaging over 1,500 corporate programs around the globe in on-the-ground conservation efforts on private lands. We are dedicated to build on that success and move forward confidently into our third decade, by promoting and extending the WHC model of corporate voluntary action, employee volunteerism, and community engagement for biodiversity and conservation education. Please read this month's President's Message to hear about our unique WHC Annual Symposium, the results of a survey on how community involvement is embracing environmentalism, and what the survey indicates for WHC and the future role of corporations in biodiversity and conservation education. WHC’s Collaborations for Conservation website is the best way to see the on-the-ground success of our members using the WHC model. Visit www.whccollaborations.org today to learn more. Please check back with us regularly as we move into the first year of our third decade, with many exciting developments to come! |
