Stewardship Week 2008: Celebrate Conservation

 "Water is Life"
April 27-May 4, 2008, is Stewardship Week, an annual recognition of
natural resource conservation and the people and groups that make it happen. NRCS is proud to be a partner with the nation’s farmers and ranchers,
conservation districts, resource conservation and development councils, state
and federal agencies, tribes and nongovernmental organizations.
We applaud
the pioneers of conservation and encourage those who continue to explore its
frontiers today. Stewardship Week reminds us of the power of each
person to conserve natural resources and improve the world. When people work
together, that power grows.
