Using GSA Schedules for Professional Services - Atlanta, GA

This live web-based seminar covers contracting issues raised by Contracting Officers in procuring GSA Professional Services.

• Contractor Teaming Agreements
• Blanket Purchase Agreements for Complex or Recurring services

This FAR-based training is tailored and restricted to those government employees in the GS-1102 Contract Specialist/Officer and related series, but Program Managers and others who generate service contract requirements, plan service contract acquisitions, and conduct market research for Professional Services procurements can also benefit.

This training assumes basic familiarity with the GSA Multiple Award Schedules program terminology and basic FAR-based ordering terminology /procedures.

The webinar is four hours in duration and includes brief breaks. It is certified for 4.0 Continuous Learning Points in accordance with CLP policies.

Please note: This particular webinar is not intended for participation from your desktop like most webinars, except in unusual situations (remote locations with no other webinar sites in area, mobility handicap, etc.) and must be coordinated through GSA/FAS Customer Service Directors.

Directions:

Traveling on I-75 or I-85 south from Marietta, Greenville, Chattanooga:

• Exit the Freeway at Williams St. (Exit 249C) and follow Williams St. to Andrew Young International Blvd.
• Turn right on International Blvd. and follow it to Techwood Dr.
• Turn left on Techwood, go to Marietta St., and turn left.
• Follow Marietta St. to Forsyth St. and turn right.
• The Atlanta Federal Center is located on the right, at the corner of Forsyth and Alabama Streets and behind McDonald's.

Traveling on I-75 or I-85 north from Macon, Montgomery, Columbus, Tampa:

• Exit the freeway at Butler/JW Dobbs St. (Exit 248D).
• Make a left off the freeway. You will be on Edgewood Avenue.
• Keep straight on Edgewood Ave., which turns into Marietta St. after the Peachtree Street intersection.
• Once on Marietta Street, make the first available left turn, at Forsyth Street.
• The Atlanta Federal Center entrance is located on the right, at the corner of Forsyth and Alabama Streets and behind McDonald's.

Traveling on I-20 east (Birmingham, Tuscaloosa).

• Exit the freeway at Windsor St./Spring St./Turner Field Stadium (Exit 56B).
• Make a left at the traffic light and stay to the right.
• Turn right on Mitchell St., make a left at the traffic light onto Forsyth Street, and go one block.
• The Atlanta Federal Center is located at the corner of Forsyth and Alabama Streets and behind McDonald's.

Traveling on I-20 west (Augusta, Columbia)

• Exit from I-20 onto I-75/I-85 North "Greenville/Chattanooga" (Exit 57).
• Once on I-75/I-85, exit immediately at Butler/JW Dobbs St. (Exit 248D).
• Make a left off the freeway. You will be on Edgewood Avenue.
• Keep straight on Edgewood Avenue, which turns into Marietta Street after the Peachtree Street intersection.
• Make a left at Forsyth Street.
• The Atlanta Federal Center is located on the right, between Forsyth and Alabama Streets and behind McDonalds.

Parking:

There is a public parking lot located behind the Atlanta Federal Center, at the end of Alabama Street. There is also a lot south of the center on Forsyth Street and Martin Luther King Boulevard, as well as a small lot on the north side of our building. Rates range between $4.50 and $7.00 per day.

Train:

Directions to the training facility via MARTA

• Get off the train at the "Five Points" MARTA Station.
• Exit the station onto Forsyth Street and turn left.
• The Atlanta Federal Center entrance is located at the corner of Forsyth and Alabama Streets, behind McDonald's.
