Utilization and Disposal Course
This information-packed 3-day course covers the reporting and reutilization of excess and the donation and sale of surplus federal personal property.
During this three-day course, which includes an entire day devoted to GSAXcess®, subject matter experts will present topics covering the entire scope of the federal personal property disposal process.
The workshop will address in detail:
- Reporting excess property
- Reutilizing excess property as a source of supply
- Donating surplus property
- Sales of surplus property, including exchange/sale, GSAAuctions® and MySales
- Procedures for processing hazardous material waste
- Special categories of property such as aircraft, vessels and firearms
- Seized, forfeited, voluntarily abandoned and unclaimed property
- Abandonment and destruction of property
- Computers for Learning (CFL)
