Utilization and Disposal Course

This information-packed 3-day course covers the reporting and reutilization of excess and the donation and sale of surplus federal personal property.

During this three-day course, which includes an entire day devoted to GSAXcess®, subject matter experts will present topics covering the entire scope of the federal personal property disposal process.

The workshop will address in detail:

  • Reporting excess property
  • Reutilizing excess property as a source of supply
  • Donating surplus property
  • Sales of surplus property, including exchange/sale, GSAAuctions® and MySales
  • Procedures for processing hazardous material waste
  • Special categories of property such as aircraft, vessels and firearms
  • Seized, forfeited, voluntarily abandoned and unclaimed property
  • Abandonment and destruction of property
  • Computers for Learning (CFL)

Parking
Pay-as-you-go parking is available at the venue.

Lodging
