Reclamation Awards $2 Million Contract for Grand Coulee Third Powerplant Project Planning - The Bureau of Reclamation awarded a $2 million contract for project planning and management assistance needed for upcoming work at the Grand Coulee Dam Third Powerplant. Bureau of Reclamation Seeks Public Comments on Draft Environmental Assessment of Community Water Company Plan for Central Arizona Project Water - Reclamation is seeking public comments on its draft Environmental Assessment on the proposed Community Water Company water distribution system and recharge facility. Technical Work Group to Meet in Phoenix on Colorado River TopicsSalt Lake City, UT - Reclamation's Upper Colorado Regional Office has announced that the Technical Work Group of the Glen Canyon Dam Adaptive Management Program will meet, in Phoenix, Ariz., on March 16-17, 2009 to address topics related to the operation of Glen Canyon Dam and the Colorado River. Technical Work Group meetings are held regularly to discuss technical matters and facilitate recommendations for use by the Adaptive Management Work Group, a Federal Advisory Committee to the Secretary of the Interior on the operation of Glen Canyon Dam and management of downstream resources in Glen and Grand Canyons.
