RWA Form 2957

The Reimbursable Work Authorization (RWA), Form 2957, was recently revised to reflect the requirements of Acquisition Letter V 05-06, Purchases on Behalf of Other Agencies.

The GSA Forms library provides two options for completing the Form 2957:

  • PDF - A filled out PDF version of the form cannot be saved with the Adobe Acrobat Viewer. Only the Adobe Standard or Professional versions must be used to save filled out PDF version of Form 2957. The most current version of the Adobe Professional is required to modify a previously saved PDF version of Form 2957.

We do not anticipate producing a Microsoft Word version of the RWA Form 2957. Microsoft Word permits users to change text, which violates GSA Form requirements. In this case, the RWA certification statement is a requirement of the Acquisition Letter and as such is locked down by the FormFill or PDF software.

RWA Customer Tools

  • The RWA Customer Checklist provides a one page summary of the required and optional fields that an RWA customer needs to complete on the 2957 form. 
  • The Customer Guide to Overtime Utilities provides a summary of how GSA estimates overtime utilities (above and beyond the standard utilities paid for in PBS Rent).  GSA now uses a standardized tool across the nation to estimate Overtime Utilities and this Customer Guide breaks down how various utilities are estimated.  The Customer Guide was updated on 9/10/2008.
RWA Search

The RWA Search website allows customers to search and review summary financial data for their RWAs with GSA.  Additionally customers can view scanned images of their RWA Form 2957(s) and other RWA supporting documentation. 

Customers will need to have a user ID and password to gain access to the RWA Search site.  A link is available on the RWA Search log-in page to create a new user ID and password as well as to request your password to be reset.

Billview

The Billview site allows users to view all previous RWA billings online.  Bills can be retrieved searching by RWA number or by specific bill number .

Note: In November 2007, GSA changed the format of its RWA billing statements to be more user friendly (see example here). The updated format was to address suggestions received by many of our RWA customers.  As such you will notice that all billings dated October 2007 and earlier will display in the older format, whereas billings in November 2007 through present day will display in the newer format.
