NLBIF, the Dutch GBIF Node, with the Expert Center for Taxonomic Identification (ETI) has just published three new Species Banks on-line: 1) Flora of North-West Europe 2) Arthropods of Economic Importance (Agromyzidae) and 3) Arthropods of Economic Importance (Eurasian Tortricidae).

The Flora of NW Europe contains a wealth of species-level information, such as descriptions, photographs, literature, distribution maps, scientific and local names. Check your familiarity with plants in the field with the on-line knowledge test.

The 14 on-line Species Banks can now be queried through a central search facility, where you can search for scientific and local names. On the page "Search Species" you can find a complete list with Species Banks facilitated by ETI and NLBIF.
