The Education and Training Materials Database is a compilation of educational materials developed by universities, private industry, and local, state and Federal government agencies for school personnel and others working Child Nutrition Programs.

This database provides easy access to resources for education and training programs for schools and child care facilities. The database includes print materials, such as training manuals, workbooks, technical information, newsletters, and brochures, as well as videocassettes, audiocassettes, CD ROMS, downloaded information from database sites, public service announcements and other materials.

A database report is generated for all materials. The report includes: title, author/developer, a short description and a review of content. Complete ordering information for each resource is provided. The National Agricultural Library call number is included for direct or interlibrary loan.

The database includes: content area covered, target audience and whether materials are available in languages other than English. Other materials such as posters, lesson plans, reproducible handouts, games, puzzles, slides, transparencies which accompany the volume are listed.

Materials in the database have been reviewed for their content and subject matter. The complete review criteria used in the evaluation of resources is available online. The database is searchable by target audience and format as well as by full text search.
