About Us - Understanding and Managing Disease in Forest Ecosystems
Who we are
We are plant pathologists, invasion biologists, foresters,
technicians, students, and volunteers who are doing research to
understand and manage tree diseases within the rural and urban
landscapes of the Midwest. We work with people from a
variety of local, State, Federal, and international organizations. We
work at many spatial scales-from microscopic to landscape. We
collect and analyze data from State and National forests, urban parks
and woodlands, nurseries, and our own greenhouse and laboratories. We
develop models, write management guidelines, and participate in workshops. We
provide information and training to urban planners, land managers, arborists,
foresters, community leaders, regulatory agencies, and homeowners.
Where we are
We are located at 1561 Lindig Avenue, in the St. Paul suburb of Falcon
Heights.
