There is still time to participate in the 2008 Farm Bill rulemaking

This is a new program authorized under the Environmental Quality
Incentives Program (EQIP) in the 2008 Farm Bill. A notice of request
for proposals was published in the Federal Register. Proposals should
be submitted to the NRCS National Headquarters by March 2, 2009. |

NRCS requests applications for CIG to stimulate the development and
adoption of innovative conservation approaches and technologies.
Applications must be received by March 20, 2009. Funds will be awarded
through a nationwide competitive process and require a minimum of 50
percent match. |
